Ljubljana on your mobile phone, Istrian Towns in a printed guide

Bookmark and Share

As an alternative to tourist guides, visitors to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, can now use a mobile phone to guide them from one sight to the next. The website http://m.visitljubljana.si can be accessed from the standard browser on any mobile device.

Mobile Visit Ljubljana is a website adapted for small screens and designed for fast loading using the minimum quantity of data transfer in order to reduce browsing costs. As well as basic information about Ljubljana, the website offers information on accommodation, presentations of the sights of Ljubljana, a range of city tours and organised excursions to the surrounding area, an overview of events, weather information and so on.  The contents of the website are available in five languages: Slovene, English, German, Italian and French. The website is adapted for existing mobile browsers and no additional software is required.

Experience Slovenian Istria is a printed guide that comes in very handy on trips from Ljubljana to Slovenia's coastal towns. The new guide is also available at the 10 new tourist information points in Slovenian Istria that opened their doors on the first day of summer. There are now 16 of these tourist information points promoting Slovenian Istria as a single tourist destination, with more planned in the future. Tourism organisations and associations from Koper, Portorož and Izola sponsor the information desks.
