Slovenian Soprano Receives Standing Ovations
Washington, D.C., May 16 – Sabina Cvilak, the young Slovenian soprano who was recently a recipient of Slovenia’s highest recognition for achievements in arts and culture, Prešeren Award Prize, received outstanding reviews for her performance as Liù in Puccini’s Turandot, which opened on Saturday at the Kennedy Center.
